HOW DOES PERFORMANCE PREP WORK?

You provide a short list of pieces (opera, musical theater or theater) you wish to get performance ready. You and a coach decide on 2 pieces from that list to prepare in the workshop. Then, you receive 4 sessions that delve into text analysis, character development and performance technique tailored to YOU and YOUR selections. The 1st two sessions are interactive online; the last two, ADD ON an accompanist (for singers) or director (for actors) in your city to put it all together***. The workshop culminates in a grande finale: a live streamed recital to show off your work!

WHAT'S THE ADVANTAGE OF PERFORMANCE PREP? 

• Log in from your home or anywhere you can access the internet (within noise constraints).

• Dates are flexible. Choose the day of the week that works best for you (see the "Events" page for dates).

• Workshops are small (limited to 8) so you receive personal attention.

• Workshops are available in any major city across the US (if unavailable in your town, you will be informed upon registration)

• You get to try out your material in a LIVE STREAMED, recorded performance.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT? 

ADULT workshop participants must be 18 years of age or older to sign up. TEEN workshop participants (14-17) must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

​IS IT AFFORDABLE?

Indeed! PERFORMANCE PREP costs just $75 per session, $300 total for the 4 day workshop. There are limited 2-Day intensive workshops that pack the content into half days (also $300). Please make sure you select the appropriate adult or teen workshop. Duos may enroll, as long as both partners sign up individually.
